in my opinion, when you're trying to change your lifestyle into a healthier one, you have to start by just making little changes, little by little. if you want it to be a lifestyle change, then you want lasting habits.
so, if you start by getting into a super strict diet, it will suck and you'll want to leave it in no time, because everything's changed. it's not an easy diet to maintain through time.
therefore, if you're used to unhealthy habits, try changing little things first. choose juice over soda. or water over soda. if you're a sedentary person, start to walk somedays. then, with time, start to run a little bit, and increase your changes.
challenge yourself. make it a lifestyle, but not an infinite diet! have your treat once in a while.
